Purchases made through MyPoints partner merchants are reported at varying intervals, typically within 2-5 business days, but may take up to 30 days. Travel-related purchases should post within 60 days after completion. If points are missing after this period, users can submit a ticket to inquire. When shopping through MyPoints, tracking information is sent to the merchant, who then reports back to MyPoints to match the purchase with the user's account. Points appear in a pending state for 30 days once reported.
Partner merchants report purchases to MyPoints at varying intervals. Many partner merchants report purchases within 2-5 business days, but some of our partner merchants may take up to 30 days to report purchases.
Points for travel purchases such as air, hotel, and car rentals should post to your account within 60 days of your completed travel unless otherwise stated. If it has been more than 60 days, please feel free to submit a ticket under Missing Purchase Points. We would be able to send an inquiry to the merchant requesting credit for your purchase at that time.
When you click through via MyPoints to shop at a partner merchant, you send them tracking information that tells them that you came from MyPoints along with a piece of identification code that they pass back to us which allows us to match up your purchase with your member account. We can see that you clicked through to the merchant on our end of things, but until the merchant reports back to us with the purchase information and your identification tracking, we don't know that purchase occurred.
Depending on partner merchant reporting it may take up to 30 days to see purchase Points reflected in your account statement. Once your purchase has been reported to MyPoints, Point data is posted to your account and will be in a pending state for 30 days from the post date (not the purchase date).
